Ameriku® Mission Statement

Here is my first attempt at a mission statement:

The mission of Ameriku® is to harmonize the tug-of-war, either-or, yin-yang relationship between the written word and fine art by a fusion of poetry with the visual arts. It is hoped this will help introduce the joy of poetry to a new, wider audience, and reacquaint others with poetry made more accessible, and less formidable, in this format.

Ameriku Ltd creates, markets, and sells original art in a variety of forms, including framed art, posters and greeting cards.

Through Rae Hallstrom's haiku—which reflects her vision and her interpretation of the poetic form—combined with her earth-centered, nature-oriented art, Ameriku Ltd strives to offer the relaxation of a stress-free moment. This is the now experience—the everlasting yes—that encourages clarity, reduces stress, and lifts the spirit through the inward journey of contemplation, however brief.

That's it. That's why I'm doing this.
